Data Use Policy

Last updated: February 10, 2026

Our Core Principle

Habit Hill does not retain your personal data beyond what is strictly necessary to provide the service. We believe your data belongs to you.

What Data Exists

While you actively use Habit Hill, the following data is stored to make the app work:

  • Authentication data: Your email address for sign-in purposes
  • Habit data: The names and settings of habits you create
  • Completion records: Which days you marked habits as complete

What We Do NOT Do

  • We do not sell or share your data with anyone
  • We do not use your data for advertising or marketing
  • We do not analyze your habits for any purpose other than showing them back to you
  • We do not retain data after account deletion
  • We do not track your behavior across other websites
  • We do not use cookies for tracking purposes

Account Deletion

When you delete your account, all associated data is permanently removed from our systems. This includes your profile, all habits, and all completion records. This action is irreversible and completed immediately.

Data Storage

Active account data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted database provider with industry-standard encryption. Data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.

Your Control

You have full control over your data at all times:

  • View all data we hold about you through the app
  • Delete individual habits and their history
  • Delete your entire account and all data
  • Request a data export at any time
